Community Spotlight – Clare House



During the 2022 holiday season Terrascend’s Apothecarium and Kind Tree brands teamed up on a community connection campaign that supported various NON-PROFIT organizations in Pennsylvania & New Jersey. The campaign was centered around giving back to the communities that they serve by boosting shared prosperity, and making them better places to live, work, and visit. Each Apothecarium retail location in the NE selected a local organization that mattered to their employees and joined forces with their patients to raise funds for various important causes.

Over the course of the month-long campaign, our PA and NJ dispensaries raised more than $14,000 to help organizations including the Montgomery County SPCA, Arts Holding Hands and Hearts, The Alternative Gallery, Starting Over Animal Rescue, AWSOM Animal Shelter, Brothers before Others, SOMA 2 Towns for All Ages, Transition Professional Re-Entry Services, and Clare House. The Apothecarium in Lancaster, PA put forth a remarkable effort leading them to top the list of donations at $4,150 for the Clare House.

Clare House transforms the lives of women and their children through an employment-focused program, providing safety, housing, and supportive services with the goal of financial stability. They envision a community where all women and their children are empowered to build a stable foundation. For forty years, Clare House has offered a vital service to countless women and their children. Necessity is all too often the cause of why these individuals seek refuge at Clare House; many having become victims of domestic violence or other traumas prior to living there. Clare House is a healing environment that provides a winning combination of supportive services and resources.

The Apothecarium and Kind Tree were honored to collaborate with this organization and assist them in pursuing their mission. Contributing your time or making a financial contribution to Clare House has a real and meaningful impact on the families that utilize their services. Through donations, they have been able to aid many women – and plan to continue that support so long as it is required.
