Flow Kana Single Batch Voluntary Product Recall (CA Only)

(October 19, 2018) Flow Kana is voluntarily recalling a single batch of cannabis flower from one retail dispensary in San Francisco. The product being recalled is the strain Harle Tsu, from Batch Number MMF-HTSU090518 or MMF-HT062518 if purchased between October 5-12, 2018, and consists of 133 units (69 one-gram jars and 64 eighth jars) that were sold at The Apothecarium Castro. No other retailers or locations have been affected.

An Interview with Sara Payan, Our Public Education Officer

Sara Payan came to The Apothecarium as a stage III colon cancer patient while she was in the midst of chemotherapy. She ended up becoming part of our family -- as a Senior Patient Consultant and our Public Education Officer.

Now in remission -- Sara has helped thousands of patients from behind the counter of The Apothecarium and through her classes, speeches and outreach to health care providers.

Cannabinoids and Terpenes

Cannabinoids are chemical compounds that activate cannabinoid receptors on cells that repress the release of neurotransmitters in the brain; simply put, they are naturally occurring psychoactive chemicals. Terpenes are a class of organic compounds which occur naturally and are found in many plants and some insects.
