Apothecarium Continues Its Partnership with Unite for HER

The Apothecarium is proud to partner with Unite for HER for the fourth year in a row. We believe that all cancer patients should have access to various treatments and resources to help manage their symptoms.

Come visit a SF Bay Area Apothecarium dispensary near me at our Castro dispensary, Berkeley dispensary, Marina dispensary, Soma dispensary and Capitola dispensary locations in San Francisco California.

If you are visiting our other locations in Pennsylvania and New jersey you might want to see what we have at our Phillipsburg dispensary, Maplewood dispensary and the Lodi dispensary in NJ. Or check out our Pennsylvania locations at our Lancaster dispensary, Thorndale dispensary and the Plymouth Meeting dispensary in PA.

What is Unite for HER?

Unite for HER is focused on enriching the health and well-being of those diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancers – for life – by funding and delivering integrative therapies. They offer resources on nutrition, acupuncture, massage, yoga, counseling, and other ways for patients to enhance their wellness and care for their emotional, spiritual, and physical needs.

Why We Support Unite for HER?

Since 2018, The Apothecarium has donated over $20,000 to Unite for HER and has partnered with them on several initiatives such as their annual retreat, speaker and ask the expert series, and educating their members on the benefits of medical marijuana. By educating patients on medical marijuana, patients can make informed decisions on the best approach to manage and treat their side effects and symptoms.

“We could not be more honored to have such a trusted relationship with The Apothecarium, serving and educating our breast and ovarian community on Medical Marijuana. At Unite for HER we look to educate and empower our community on areas that can be overwhelming and confusing, medical marijuana being one of them.

Partnering with The Apothecarium has enabled us to share a Gold Standard of what and who to look for when identifying this resource. Understanding how important it is to do your research, just like you do when choosing a surgeon, or oncologist is a perspective they bring. They are very engaged and hands on with our community, educating our board and staff, speaking at our Speaker Series and Ask the Experts events over the years. Their presentations are easily digestible and have been vital to educating our community on how this could help them navigate unwanted side effects and symptoms.”
